Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Co (PNJ), Vietnam’s leading jewellery manufacturer and retailer, continues to win the hearts of clients worldwide with its superior-quality products, unmatched artistry and commitment to excellence.

In 2016, it launched the I Love Vietnam Collection, inspired by Vietnam’s colorful heritage.

This year, PNJ is capitalising on the success of its past endeavours by unveiling the Lucky Log and Essence of Nature Collections to once again captivate buyers. The collections take inspiration from bamboo and rice, in homage to Vietnam’s thriving agricultural sector.

“The most iconic images of Vietnam are majestic rice fields and bamboos rustling along winding village roads. These sceneries are immortalized by PNJ artisans through our jewellery,” noted PNJ.

Expertise

To maintain its position as Vietnam’s most prominent jeweller, PNJ said it developed a transparent strategy that focuses on innovation and business expansion.

Among its initiatives are harnessing the talents of its people through trainings, and investing in technology to further improve its production processes. PNJ runs a manufacturing facility, with a formidable team of designers and goldsmiths.

Its major markets are North America and Europe, including France, Denmark and Germany.

In 2016, PNJ’s total revenues reached $400 million, up 11 percent from 2015. Despite a challenging year, the company prospered on the back of a solid business strategy.

Retail sales improved 26 percent while profit before tax was up 216 percent to $30 million from 2015. PNJ also reported a 41 percent rise in revenues to $260 million for the first half of 2017. Retail sales from its brands – PNJ Gold, PNJ Silver and CAO Fine Jewellery – were 45 percent higher than last year. Pre-tax profit was $22 million, up 54 percent.

The jeweller also opened 22 stores this year, bringing its total number of shops to 237.

PNJ revealed that it is aiming to boost sales revenues in 2017. The year 2018 will also mark the company’s 30th anniversary.

“PNJ continuously improves the quality of its services, resources and products,” it said. “Our story doesn’t end with being the top Vietnamese manufacturer and retailer. Our goal is to honour the values and traditions of our country, and bring the beauty and artistry of Vietnam to the global market.”
